After one, three-hour class with Val, I can't begin to recommend her enough. You can tell she was a trainer prior to taking up bartending because she gives great instruction and is patient and fun. Val set up a class specifically for me and taught me bartending basics from preparing the fruit garnishes to simple syrups to well, bottom and top shelf liquors. We had so much fun and I learned not only how to make 16 new drinks but where to get supplies too. While I'll never be a professional bartender, I've seen firsthand that Val has the knowledge, experience and honestly, fun to make this class useful for anyone looking to tend bar as a profession.
